I had read all the bad reviews on the internet but thought i'd see it anyway and i'm really glad i did - then i can form my own opinion!
The only bad point is the acting - yeah, it's a bit wooden and predictable but hey!
I felt the storyline picked all the best bits from the Aliens/Predator films and attempted to recycle them - although it wasn't done really well, it was done well enough to keep your attention throughout the whole film.
There was enough action from both the Aliens and Predators and was impressive.
I do think this is for die-hard fans of the Aliens/Predator films but give it a go and enjoy it for the action/sci-fi flick it is!
Directed by idiots, written by idiots, acted by idiots, edited by idiots and watched by...yeah, idiots. How I wish I hadn't bothered. Though in a way I didn't. This film is so dark that you cannot make out more than half of what was going on. I assume that this was done to cover up the fact that budget was tight and the Aliens and Predator looked exactly what they were, men in costumes. Please don't bother with this film, it will only ecourage them.
One other point, in these days of media saturation, surely somebody would have filmed an Alien and posted it on the web. Which blows the whole idea of the original Alien films, as no one had ever encountered them. Yet they'd been here on earth. Oh, the humanity!
