    [Highly rated reviewer]

Firstly I have to confess that I didn't finish watching this film because I got bored. OK bored, depressed, and disturbed.I'm not gay and I felt this preached to the choir in its delivery- more a safe sex information film than a drama. Secondly, I know that it was made with channel 4 money, but the quality of script writing and acting reminded me of the every day BBC fodder we are continually oppressed by, and it was all a bit wooden and clunky. I thought the dancing was a bit nasty and yet was not nasty enough to be funny. Bill Nighy was adequate but he couldn't raise this on his own beyond its mediocrity. Go down the pub and by a pint instead. You might meet someone nice...

An interesting film which unfortunately shows its age, non more so in the closing scene in Greenwich Park. For me the joy of this film was the cameo performance by Dorothy Tutin, a much missed actress.
