The film has so many good actors and the main reason for watching this was for sean penn who is such a good actor and he definitely makes the film better than it could have been. Jude Law is very good too. It is just a shame the film did not have a good editor working on the script and the length of the film too
If there was a point to this film, I missed it. But then, I did switch off halfway through because the story jumped about so much it was too much of an effort to try to follow. Not helped by Jude Law's unconvincing accent or Sean Penn's hick accent - so thick that it's impossible to tell what he's saying half the time.
In the end, I just lost interest.
Those needing a quiet but fun night in this week have, once again, a great selection of new movies to choose from, ranging from thriller to romance to comedy.
