Something missing.

This film has the basis of a good tale (as the book surely is) but it's spoilt by the total lack of presence shown by Penelope Cruz ( what's all the fuss about??). I would like to have seen a lot more of Jimmy Blevins (played by Lucas Black),and for his performance I give the whole 3 stars.- Was this review helpful to you?

Flat and lifeless

The film did not develop; it just dragged on with the same dull energy giving no sense of movement at all. It fizzled out and dried up and then it ended.- Was this review helpful to you?
