Horror? I like mine scary!
By Rokeyblokey (52 reviews) from Nottingham , 18 Sep 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
A typical slasher movie concept, bunch of high school kids go to a house in the middle of nowhere, to be tracked down by a maniacal killer.
It's been done really well so many times before, can this add anything new?
I'm afraid the answer is a resounding no! It starts off with a scene setting intro, before moving on to the hi-jinks. It takes awhile to get going, and to be honest I never really cared for a single one of the main characters.
As the film progresses it becomes very clear very early that this film is simply not scary. Not a jump or tense moment to be had. Not a shock or suprise in store.
And the killer is revealed far too early, there is no attemp to keep things fresh at all!
The final nail in the coffin comes from the fact that even at a slender 88 minutes this film manages to outstay its welcome.
Sorry all, one to avoid!- Was this review helpful to you?

(190)Nothing New Under The Sun
By DumDumNico (1 review) , 17 Feb 2013There is an overall sensation of 'already seen' throughout the movie. The psychological analisys of the characters is poor and it doen't allow the viewer to understand the reasons behind the extreme decision of the killer(s) to accomplish his/their massacre. Some no-sense scenes here and there, plus an insignificant finale, make this movie a total waste of time.- Was this review helpful to you?

Promising start but soon becomes tiresome
By Bassman71 (618 reviews) from Didsbury, England , 12 Dec 2012Group of teens go to ranch for weekend, men trying to seduce Mandy Lane, shes having none of it, teens starts being bumped off, all isnt what it seems. Promising start and well shot slasher which soon descends into nonsense with usual horror clichés and stupidity. Youre not really sure where its going early on which isnt a bad thing and Amber Heards Mandy Lane doesnt give much away. Maybe it was me thinking too much into though as youve soon sussed out what is going on and quickly becomes tiresome.- Was this review helpful to you?
