the jerky camera work had me reaching for a sick bag after a while - i know thats the point with the hidden cameras but it doesnt make it any easier to watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

(36)The ending lets the film down

The audience can be left feeling let down if a film doesn't progress or finish in a way they would like to see or a way they would be comfortable with. Without giving too much away, maybe the writer wanted to make a point, but I came away from this just wondering what the point was.
On the up-side, Colin Hanks does a great job of coming across as someone very creepy. If any of you ladies have had the misfortune to be approached online by a man who you really didn't like the sound of and who gave you the serious creeps, this is him.
Overall, a good concept and scary to think how easy it could be for someone to pull off what Hanks's character does in the film. But the ending lets it down.- Was this review helpful to you?

Gritty well excecuted movie
By molsmith (11 reviews) , 20 Jan 2013This is a great movie. The story is gritty, real, and convincing. Forget all the comment about shaky camera work. The camera work is precise and positions itself correctly to build suspense, tension, and involvement. You are there. That's how gripping story telling is done. I have watched high end films on this subject costing millions to make but this one does it better, The right amount of nudity, and a great insight into both predator and (victim) prey. somewhat predictable at times but still keeps you watching to the end, as for the way it is shot you have to be open minded and see what the director is trying to achieve it wouldn't have been nearly as creepy without this approach, if you don't see this movie for what it is trying to achieve then stick to bambi- Was this review helpful to you?
