A typical Morgan Freeman thriller with great plot and twists you don't see coming, a great cast and Morgan Freeman is brilliant as usual- Was this review helpful to you?

Spider's web catches you
By avii (14 reviews) , 03 Dec 2012Oh, this was good right up to the end. Absolute must see if you like to be kept guessing and have your money's worth. Morgan Freeman at his best. I thought it might be a little stereotypical but it kept turning just when you thought you knew what was next.- Was this review helpful to you?

Morgan's Big but the Plot Holes are Bigger
By JayLow (122 reviews) , 02 Aug 2012It's an enjoyable enough, fairly middle-of-the-road thriller with two decent things going for it: Morgan Freeman and, at it's heart, a pretty good plot twist.
Sure, it's not that well executed and Monica Potter is utterly unbelievable as a secret service agent, but it's a fun twisty-turny tale and not a bad watch. And Mr Freeman is exellent value.
The problems really start when the credits role. You see, with all the twisty-turny plot elements, you have to supend your judgement on the story until you know what the story is. When it's all over though, and you know what the story is, you realise just how ridiculously implausable it is. It tries to be clever, but the whole thing is one plot-hole after another, and, personally, I find that a tad annoying.
Not to mention an 8 year old child who could put MacGyver to shame. Hmm...seriously...do you know how to start a fire with a battery? Really? Nah...didn't think so.- Was this review helpful to you?

what a shame, well it was to me!
By a customer , 26 Nov 2011I have read and loved all of James Pattersons books and I love the work of Morgan Freeman so when the two were put together I thought it would be magic! Oh how wrong could I be?! The book was fantastic and kept me glued to the page and I loved it, but the film was so dull and unexciting to me and not at all what I expected : ( very disapointed with this sorry, but I gave it a go.- Was this review helpful to you?

A great film!
By a customer , 15 Nov 2011Typical of the James Patterson style of twists in the tale, this film does not disappoint. Morgan Freeman, as always, gives a great performance.- Was this review helpful to you?
