I really enjoyed watching this excellent movie: it was informative in so many ways. It was foremostly a well documented part of history and the story of a very interesting man's life and how he contributed towards making life better for mankind. It was interesting to watch Wilberforce spend years battling to get the bill through Parliament
to abolish slavetrading, and yet get nowhere but he never gave up. I walked away thinking how true it is that we are all more powerful than we give ourselves credit for. One person CAN make the difference! Watch this, it's really a brilliant film !
I took my mum to the pictures to see this and she was raving about it for weeks so this review is dedicated to her. One to watch if you like Historical entertainment.

The story tells of Wilberforce's journey to abolish slavery in the 19th century, although Gruffudd admits Read more
