superb..................

this dvd is superb. From protecting the country from terrorists to keeping his dysfunctional family happy, there is no crisis too big or too small for overprotective CIA agent Stan Smith in this very funny animated series.

In these episodes, Stan joins the local chapter of the Gay Republican to speak at the National Republican Convention.

His wife Francine seeks revenge on film star George Clooney for ruining her dreams of becoming an actress.

His son Steve gets a lot more attention after some bizarre steroid side effects.

His daughter Hayley feels guilty for shooting and paralyzing his father.

Roger the alien becomes Stan's new best friend after a wild romp in Atlantic City.

and Klaus the goldfish tries to win over Francine with his new human body.

well worth renting out.

even better than the first series

even better than the first series which was absolutely fantastic.

Another great series from the creators of Family Guy.

Great stuff you dare not miss this

Very funny

With The Simpsons and Family Guy you would have thought that there is no more room for another dysfunctional family - well it turns out there is room for another one, so meet the Smiths. Won't be spoiling what is in there, just put the DVD in and prepare to laugh if you like moral satire and seeing the funny side of today's America.

What's not to like?

If you're a fan of American Dad then you won't be disappointed... However, if you haven't seen the show before you might think it a little bizzare! :oP

Brilliant follow up

Two episodes were a bit poor but the rest were brilliant. Stan has some great laugh out loud one liners. If you love American Dad, you wont be disappointed.

But is it as good as "Family Guy"?

...No but still wonderful. If you are going to rent 'American Dad' you know what you are getting - and that it will make you laugh a lot. Stan has the second best chin on television and Roger is great.

Don't watch them all at once though as they tend to get a bit samey - if you watch them two at a time and then stop, you will continue to marvel at Seth MacFarlane's fabulosity!

as good as family guy

love it! need more! addicting funny stuff

Good Laugh

A good series although very much like King of the Hill, it has a different slant to it. I found it took a couple of episodes to get into but was really funny when things fell into place.

Enjoyable as per usual, also nice that it has more episodes on this disk

MacFarlane is a genius

So, you may not find it as funny as Family Guy, but this is still a smart adult comedy that has laugh out loud moments galore and gets better with each series. Can be watched over and over. Highly recommend.
