Kevin Costner and David Marshall Grant star as two estranged brothers driven apart by the untimely death of their father. Marcus (Costner), the older brother, is a renegade bicycle racer and doctor who returns to his family home and discovers that David (Grant) may suffer from cerebral aneurysms, the same ailment that killed their father. In an effort to discover the truth about David and mend their failing relationship, Marcus brings his brother home with him to Wisconsin, where he works at a state-of-the-art sports medicine facility.The two brothers, although quite different, share the love of bicycle racing, and decide to go to Colorado to participate in "Hell of the West," the most difficult bike race in the country. As they undergo the grueling journey, they mend old wounds and realize the importance of family, before it is too late.

A great 80's film!

This is such a great film and yet so difficult to purchase or find anywhere! The basic storyline follow two brothers who have lived apart for a long time due to various differences, as they get together to train for a big cycle race through the american country.

However, there is more to the story than this and the film really revolves around the fact that one of the brothers is very ill. I cant say much more than that without spoiling the film though.

The film features a very young Kevin Costna and some other well know actors of past years. The acting is good, the storyline is interesting and believable and there is a great cheesy 80's soundtrack. What more could you want?

well what can i say the film speaks for itself its brilliant i cant wait to buy this, oh and its nothing to do with kevin costner in cycle shorts.
