An American highBy Waterboy (34 reviews) from Hertfordshire , 28 Mar 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]My nephew persuaded me to watch this and he was right to. It is well cast, well acted and well put together. While most of the humour is derived from teenage boys preoccupation with sex it isn't the gross out teen comedy I was expecting. Perhaps I appreciated it from the perspective of the excruciatingly embarrassing Dad.

American PieBy a customer from Hollywood , 10 Mar 2008Funny in places, would recommend
Only after sexBy a customer from London , 07 Feb 2008Do not watch this movie if you're still a virgin or if you're against sex before marriage. You would not understand it, nor like it.
The one where it all began...By Thomas Perkins from Plymouth, Devon, England , 03 Jan 2008This is the first American Pie movie and even though the second is my favourite (and I think the funniest) this one is still excellent and is a must see. Without it the second one wouldn't work would it??!!
All three (the 3 new ones don't count) of these films are excellent and hilarious and have a lovely story to them underneath all the sex etc. They are great for all ages from teens upwards. My parents and even granparents found them funny too and thought them good films... But then maybe we're just weird!! lol.
ExcellentBy Mondrak (16 reviews) from Folkestone , 05 Dec 2007This film is almost a retake on Porky's from many years ago. It is fantastically rip-roaringly funny.
Some bits had me covering my eyes in a 'no he wouldn't' sort of way, and other bits had me holding my sides as I was in pain from laughter.
A pathetic teenage filmBy Alexin (2 reviews) from Basingstoke , 20 Sep 2007This movie is supposed to be funny and sexy. We all have been through experiments. But...could it describe sex in a more vulgar way? I doubt it. It's obviously made for teenagers or slightly retarded brains. A sex scene can be hot, passionate; it can shows sex or tickle your imagination. In American Pie, you won't see nudity (censored), but you will see (oops, I should say imaginate) a guy masturbating in a pie... The proof that vulgarity is not in the nude but in the mind.
