AVOID this AWFUL film !!!!!!
One star is too high a rating for this detritus. This film lacked any merit at all to speak of. I thought the first film was an intelligent, comical masterpiece, however it is arguably criminal that this film bears its name. I was deeply angered to have eagerly spent two hours of my time watching this. Ignore my advice at your peril. Take it off your rental queue. Trust me.

A complete load of tosh - avoid!
As per the other review, first you should know this film is really nothing to do with the first - which I thought was excellent. The movie is more like a very poorly made 'teenage' slasher movie than a contemporary thriller/horror like that first. Apart from the inclusion of a couple of fairly attractive American girls, this has absolutely nothing going for it. Man, it's crap. The more I think about it the more worked up I get .. arrrgghhh .. I can't believe I wasted an hour of my life watching this. Get the picture?? (or rather don't!)

Tom Cruise was the inspiration for Christian Bale's frightening portrayal of a bloodthirsty maniac in American Psycho, according to the movie's director Mary Harron.
