The only thing in this movie that has any relation to the first film are the two words in the title, 'American' and 'Psycho'!
I should have guessed this movie would have been attrocious as William Shatner and his stunt wig makes an appearance.
This film is not a horror, but a poor mishmash of 'Clueless', 'Heathers' and any trashy slasher movie. However, this is doing a dis-service to these movies, beacuse this is crap.
