    [Highly rated reviewer]

WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS FILM. A DEEPLY INVOLVED STORY OF A LOVELY SCHOOL TEACHER'S LIFE, A CHARMING PERSON WHO BECAME AN EMBLEM OF THE SCHOOL SHE LOVED, SO DEEPLY THAT IT BECAME HER WORLD.

A pleasant, gentle film, good to watch late evening if you don't want to have nightmares. Nothing to stir the senses or emotions and with the predictable, all-American, apple-pie happy ending.

If you are a fan of Anne of Green Gables and the Road to Avonlea, then this is just for you. It is a nice, slow movie exploring what happens in the next stage of the lives of the residents of Prince Edward Island.
