A story of true and innocent love about Rajnandini, the much loved sister of three brother Bhairaja, Manileraja and Chateraja. They are big land owners and control the village with fear.An astrologer predicted during childhood that Nandini would go against her brothers wishes to marry so to stop this happenind they keep her trapped in the palace and punish any man who looks at her. A seeming harmless idiot, Rama is let into the palace to entertain but he is physically strong and is hired as Nandini's bodyguard.
