Pretentious Arthouse Rubbish

Like her previous films like Sex Is Comedy, Breillat makes another pretentious arthouse movie and has it masqurading as art.This time an exploration of gender politics and sexuality. (That's what it says on the box, anyway).If you like Catherine Breillat's sexual explotations, you will love this. As for me, it left me stone cold.- Was this review helpful to you?

He was straight
By a customer , 03 Dec 2012I thought this film was thought provoking. I liked the intimacy between the characters. I found beauty In its simplicity and attention to detail .It was refreshing to watch a film that deals with sexuality on a more deeper level .I am not sure why the male character had to be gay? Wouldn't it have worked equally as well if he had of been straight?- Was this review helpful to you?
