[Highly rated reviewer]keeping it simple this is a movie made up from all the alternet scenes and variations which went into the making of the origional Anchorman film.
As such it is a moive made up of all the things which were deemed to be not as funny as what went into the origional or simply just not funny enough; and it shows when the two are compared.
That said this film is still a lot better than most of its type and especialy a lot funnier than many of the movies Will Ferrell has churned out over recent years.
I just wish that he would spend more time on quality rather than quanity! Roll on Anchorman 2 in 2010!!!

awfulBy SWMBO (28 reviews) from redditch , 25 Jun 2009A boring boring film.. Its definately a mans film.
WeakBy Darby (1 review) from Bedford , 18 Jun 2009If you have seen the first, great anchorman then this film is a massive dissapointment. To make this film they basicaly took the takes and scenes they didnt use in the first movie and somehow made a weak storyline out of it.
I constantly found myself recognising parts of it that were from the outtakes of the first film.
I would not recomend this film for the risk of tarnishing the memory of the superb first Anchorman.
not goodBy mookstar (199 reviews) from Ipswich , 10 Jun 2009no way near as good as the real one. very disapointing!
Worth a watchBy andybon (6 reviews) from Brentwood , 03 Jun 2009If you like the first Anchorman its worth a watch. Its not as funny as the first, but its still a funny story..
Pants PartyBy a customer from Shipley , 24 May 2009Nowhere near as good as the original Anchorman film, not as laugh-out-loud funny. Still a reasonable film, but I wouldn't recommend it if you love the first film. I was disappointed.
