Sad to see it goBy Gromit (44 reviews) from Canterbury , 07 Sep 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]This was an excellent ending to what was an excellent show. Angel fans would agree that every season was different and Season Five was no exception to that rule. In this final season, the secrets of Wolfram and Hart are finally revealed as Angel and the gang are recruited to run the LA office. It flips everything we know on its head and brings a whole new dimension to the show...its just a shame that it was cancelled so early as I honestly think that this new format completely revitalised the programme. Generally the series is more tongue in cheek than the other seasons and you can see quite clearly that the cast are enjoying themselves. Its very lighthearted (especially in comparison to the gloomy season 4) but in many ways darker than before. A highly recommended series that (like most of Joss Whedon's programmes) finished too early. RIP Angel.

Time to catch up with the past...By a customer from south east , 09 Sep 2010Sometimes you realize that you've not caught the end of a series, and you wonder how things turned out for those characters you once cared so much for. So was it worth catching up? Yes, to the extent where I'm going to have to rent out a couple of the earlier series, as I am once again hooked.

WickedBy a customer from Feltham , 11 Jul 2009What a pity they did not do a 6 and 7 series like on Buffy!
Awsome Action & ComedyBy a customer from Leeds , 20 Jan 2009They went all out all with this season and have some funny and touching moments, for the best drama see episode fifteen: A Hole In The World, where fred is infected by a mysterious virus and for Comedy see fourteen: Smile Time: Where Angel is turned into a puppet.
A great series with an amazing final episode, also look out for Adam Baldwin in a few epsidoes.
