This was an excellent ending to what was an excellent show. Angel fans would agree that every season was different and Season Five was no exception to that rule. In this final season, the secrets of Wolfram and Hart are finally revealed as Angel and the gang are recruited to run the LA office. It flips everything we know on its head and brings a whole new dimension to the show...its just a shame that it was cancelled so early as I honestly think that this new format completely revitalised the programme. Generally the series is more tongue in cheek than the other seasons and you can see quite clearly that the cast are enjoying themselves. Its very lighthearted (especially in comparison to the gloomy season 4) but in many ways darker than before. A highly recommended series that (like most of Joss Whedon's programmes) finished too early. RIP Angel.
What an excellent series, i have become and angel fan and now trying to catch up on buffy and its not working??! I went awat on holiday and missed season6 and seven of buffy, watched a few episodes and erm..am skipping to last few dvds of series 7?am i the only one?
The whole team had such brilliant acting, i really liked how each charcter was given depth in their role, gunns role was much suited to him, davids humour was very funny and unxpected!spike has done more than he ever did in the whole of buffy and fred is superwoman, well almost, love the new look. i wander if anyone knows whther there will be a continuation of angel, surely there must be?as ive been away, im not too sure?was it the last ever, ever, ever episode??really enojyed the cliffhanger ending - what a great piece of work, hope Gunn lives!!!
