Emotional, gripping and damn right escapism!
Angel first assumes the feelings of 'buffy rip-off' or even 'another american sitcom' however after watching the series i beg to differ.
Set within Los Angeles, series 2 kicks off after a tensional climax from season one where angel was left with his friends hospitalised and his enemys bringing in a new weapon against him who we find out in this series to be a strong flame from his past.
The world of demons, monsters and figh scenes gives a feeling of escapism from the 9-5 workday and with more twists and plot turns than a kitchen sink id recommend it to anyone! -

I did the dance of joy when I saw this
The whole of Disc 6 focuses on Cordelia's jump to another world. This is typically violent, very funny and pivotal in certain plot lines. Besides, they find Fred.
This is the best Angel DVD so far. -
