This release features four episodes of 'Angel' selected by series creator, Joss Whedon. The episodes focus on Wesley (Alexis Denisof), the disgraced ex-Watcher who drifts to Los Angeles to help Angel (David Boreanaz) fight the forces of darkness. In 'Parting Gifts', Wesley arrives in LA as a rogue demon hunter. In 'Guise Will Be Guise', Wesley pretends to be Angel while Angel is out of town in order to impress a client. In 'Loyalty', Wesley becomes convinced that the prophecy concerning Angel's murder of his baby son Connor is about to come true. Finally, in 'Sleep Tight', Wesley kidnaps Connor to keep him safe from Angel, unwittingly falling straight into Wolfram and Hart's trap.

a good dvd, which featured one of my favourite episodes guise will be guise, where wesley pretends to be angel, while angel is out of town. good wesley special feature as well.

The series best character, if not his best episodes.

I own all the angel DVDs and without a doubt wesley is my favorite character from the show. All the episodes gathered here are good even if they don't show all of his best moments (we only see the beginning of his turn to darkness that made him so interesting). This is a good collection nonetheless and I'd recommend it to anyone who's interested at all in Angel or to Buffy fans who want a taste of how he turned out (much much darker then even these episodes show by the way).
