Merely 'good enough'
By Bezman (82 reviews) from Glasgow , 04 Jan 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
In this set of episodes, an affecting piece of backstory regarding Misaki's mother is revealed. I found myself shedding a few tears, though the over-acting and the mother's irrational rationale did make for some unintentional amusement.
Those hoping for any twists or turns will be both disappointed and also foolish for looking for such things in what was obviously a fairly generic children's anime after the first episode.
The plot is simple enough to follow and the bright colours, action and paper-thin relationships make for an enjoyable enough watch. I imagine children would be happy enough watching this, though it's hardly 'nourishment for the soul'.- Was this review helpful to you?
