Annapolis

Working-class tough guy Jake Huard (James Franco) gets a chance to make good when he's accepted into the famed Annapolis Naval Academy, but his friends and father back at the shipyard doubt he'll last a month. The film moves through his first year at the academy, culminating in the big boxing tournament, which is Huard's chance to get revenge against his stoic-beyond-the-call-of-duty senior officer, Cole (Tyrese Gibson). First, though, the closed-off Huard must learn to ask for help, which arrives via a warmly attractive senior officer played by Jordanna Brewster (The Faculty, D.E.B.S.)

    Oh dear...

    Almost two hours of sheer confused nonsense put together by an obviously even more confused director. There was nothing special about this film, it didn't really develop into anything at all...something to rent if the alternative is watching paint dry as it is slightly better than that.

    officer and a gentleman lite with a dash of rocky . i cannot say anything bad about this film it just didnt move me .i ended up wondering why they had made it .
