Pleasantly surprised

When I had grasped from others' reviews that this film was comprised entirely of still photos, I thought it might be really tedious and difficult to stick with,.

However, the story woven around the countless photographs was skilfully done and kind of compelling, in its own way. Suffice it to say that I definitely enjoyed this very unusual wee film. At some level, it worked. It did hold your attention (provided you are attracted to World Cinema offerings in the first place). I can see that it's never likely to be widely judged as 'flavour of the month' amongst the vast span of film-goers and watchers, but I would say, to open-minded fellow film fans...give it a try. You might be as pleasantly surprised as I was!
