Style and a smile

Sweeping vistas, stunning architecture, swooping cinematography. A stylishly shot French thriller with no unecessary dialogue (put your screen def on wide) to capture all the sous-titres). Tidy plot, good action, top cast Marceau & Attal and comes in under 90 mins. You'd need to serve tea and cake for a better bargain.- Was this review helpful to you?

(5)All round class
By tzec (65 reviews) , 27 Mar 2012This was full of class. Once again, in a French film, the storyline was not affected by the sub-titles, or am I just getting better at reading? No, the dialogue was kept to a minimum, and this enhanced the whole thing. Well worth the watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

French style ,great film - great nights viewing.
By DavesOpinion (1 review) , 11 Jul 2011Fantastic film - has the feel of a modern day Hitchcock film. Great acting, superb settings and atmospheric music.
I believe this was re-made by hollywood as The Tourist -starring Jollie/Depp (awfull - avoid), I gave up on the tourist after 3/4 hr.
So good is Anthony Zimmer I bought it on DVD and watched it again a week later.
If you can read subtitles, watch this film I have recommended this to my friends and family and at 80 minutes doesn't outstay it's welcome, just wants you hoping for a sequel.- Was this review helpful to you?

Well made stylish thriller
By Iggi_1 (108 reviews) , 17 Jun 2011This film held my interest throughout, very enjoyable, neat plot, good acting, super technical quality. A big plus for me, this film is not padded out with meaningless diversions, it's short, sweet and to the point- Was this review helpful to you?
