I liked this film - it was very helpful as I have been studying Antony and Cleopatra at school and so I memorised quotations from it and got a much better understanding of the staging than I had before. The actors are strong and convincing, but somehow I imagined Cleopatra as being more magnetic. The emotional turmoil the lovers go through is made clear though, and Enobarbus' comments help you reflect on Antony's decline. The decoration and atmosphere of Roman and Egyptian courts also gives you a strong insight into the differences between the two separate worlds Antony and Cleopatra come from.
