Rock music is not my kinda thing, but who was I to argue when I was given free tickets to see a preview of this rockumentary!

And in fact, it wasn't really about the music, it was about the band being together for so long & never really hitting the big time & the struggle they still face to get back onto the scene.

It was also quite funny. Worth a watch even if the band are not to your musical taste.

I've never been an Anvil fan but I heard about this as a real-life 'Spinal Tap'. It's funny and it's bittersweet. It's very entertaining and these guys really deserve to make it! Keep rockin!

I'm not a metal fan, don't have any of their albums, but this film is BRILLIANT. For anyone out there who ever had a dream...you must watch this. The relationship between Lips and Rob is one of the most beautiful things I've witnessed in a documentary - two guys who met at school in the 1970s, and are still ROCKING, despite all the bad luck and hard knocks. It had me crying, laughing, rockin'.

Enjoyed, it seems rock and roll can be a harsh old world.

Hope they crack it , no one could fault their effort.

  • I'm not a fan of 80's metal music, but this is a must see!

Any music fan should see this fascinating and quite touching documentary. An honest look at what it's like to be in an unsuccessful band, and how hard it is to keep the dream alive.

The bands passion for their music flies in the face of 30 years ever increasing commercial failure, and you'll spend the entire film really hoping they catch a break, because the love for what they do is clear to see from the very start.

This is the real Spinal Tap, and it's a must see!

NOTE: As a result of this documentary, the band have finally received recognition, and have become fairly successful in their genre!

Great film. A must see for any one wanting to be a rock star. You have got to love what you do and not do it for the X factor fame and press coverage.
