what was this about? no plot at all - you might as well get drunk and fall about in the Indoor Plant section of a B&Q warehouse and rattle a few leaves - dire
A highly rated and reviewed film, but I don't know why.
The story, a basic man gets taken prisoner, man escapes and returns to rescue familly in danger scenario is old and tired - nothing surprising or new.
In fact, the only novelty is that the film is apparently in the correct language of the time, which unfortunately doesn't make up for the rest of it.
Plenty of blood and gore, with allegedly harrowing experiences - although most of those were me having to watch it.
