This is a very good film.. The attention to detail is fantastic and the film had me gripped from the start.

Scandal-hit actor Mel Gibson is set to produce a biblical drama about Jewish hero Judah Maccabee. Gibson is collaborating with screenwriter Joe Eszterhas to tell the story of the celebrated Jewish warrior, who defeated the Greek-Syrian armies in the second century B.C. and inspired the Hanukkah celebration.
