what was this about? no plot at all - you might as well get drunk and fall about in the Indoor Plant section of a B&Q warehouse and rattle a few leaves - dire
It's visceral and barbaric and completely unnecessary. It seems to be a hallmark of Mel Gibson's film directing. At least with The Passion Of The Christ it felt as if you were watching something that you HAD to see, however hard itr was to watch. This is just a slow, unsatisfying film from start to end. That said, the two star rating I've given this accounts for some nice mood setting scenery and some effective shots. Not Gibson's finest hour.
