Strongly recommended. Opulent production, with Kiri Te Kanawa glorious, both vocally and visually, in the title role. Marie Maclaughlin excellent as the androgynous Zdenka. Fine orchestral playing under Christian Thielmann, though the balance favours the voices. The usual excellent video production from Brian Large. Go for it!
