Rather disapointing.

Being a fan of Stephen Chow, and being a fan of Korean cinema, I really was expecting more from this. But over all I was very disapointed, even bored.
Acting wise there's not really anything to complain about. And the story itself is fine. But it's just not funny. Had this been done as more of a serious movie I honestly think it would have been far better.
I felt that the action was terminally lacking, and the attempts at humor all fell flat. But I could really see the potential this film had. I certainly won't be writing off the Ryu brothers any time soon, I fully intend to see their previous films. But Arahan is one I generally wouldn't recommend.
