  • Terrible third-person shooter crap...

    [Highly rated reviewer]

I honestly cannot believe the Army Men series ever made it past the PS1 era. Every single game has been universally panned, yet still they churn out more. This one is no different.

It looks and feels like a PS1 game, complete with clunky controls and an awful camera. Playing the game is like struggling with it; just locking a target, firing and destroying it is difficult. It relies way too much on the assumption that you thing toy soldiers running around human-sized worlds is cool; very unlikely unless you're 5. The story, if you can call it that, is about as engaging as a lecture on the finer points of watching paint dry.

I cannot think of a single reason to play this game. Go out and buy some little plastic solders. Then go play with them in your garden. You'll have more fun AND get to use your imagination...
