I'm the sort of guitarist that can play first position chords well, I can do a fair few picks and tricks, but I've rarely ventured beyond the fifth fret simply because I don't know where to press the strings down with my left hand without it sounding awful, so for me this title is brilliant.
It's well presented, easygoing, and is generally easy to follow - right up to the twelfth fret and beyond. the logic is to use bits of chord shapes moved up the neck rather than learning scales. it seems to work too. It was worth buying a copy.
This title is exactly what it claims so if you're a first position chord guitarist you are likely to find it useful.
