This game made me realise that I have serious anger issues. To be honest, I rented it because I'd heard it had really easy trophies, but I discovered that was not the case, and unfortunately I've had to keep playing it for longer than neccessary. DO NOT buy, or rent this film unless you eat, sleep, and breathe cricket.

  • Easy platinum, but easily the worst game.

    Terrible, terrible game.

I got this for the platinum and i was half dead by the time i got it, this game bored me to tears.

It's repetitive, simple, there's no commentary, the tutorials take hours. It's just not a fun game.

In my last game in the final of a 20 overs tournament i bowled Australia out 1/10... they got one run... It's just unrealistic.

If you get this game and come up against Australia, use a spinner, spin it behind them and they don't get anywhere near it!

If you are looking at this game because is has been rumored as an easy platinum, think again.

The game itself is very simple, I wont go into cricket jargon as I assume you are already a cricket fan (btw I'm not really, just a sports fan in general),

Within a couple of hours of playing you will find that the bowling is extremely easy and you will be bowling Australia all out for 50 or less, and easily scoring 500+.

The trophies on this game, for the majority, are relatively simple.. I got to 82% within a few hours, yet to get platinum you do have to work at it.

The 'Six 'Sixes' off six balls' I got almost instantly, yet the 'Six 'fours' off six balls' (incredibly) was harder as every ball I hit went for six.

You also have to score a lot of runs from a single batsman for a lot of trophies. 100 was simple, 200 was challenging, 300 was outright difficult and 500... I didn't manage it.

All in all, a good game for cricket fans, and an OK game for trophy hunters, but don't expect an easy platinum....

This game was really difficult for me as I know nothing about cricket, so I have to say I can only recommend this to people who do know about cricket. The bating in this game seemed rather random and difficult to judge, were as the bowling in this was pretty easy considering. The game doesn't take to long and all the trophies are fairly easy if you put the time in and they can be got on or offline.

I rented this game as the word on the street was that it was an 'easy platinum'.

Don't go off the word on the street is all I can say. I wouldn't class myself as a geeky PS3 addict (I reserve that title for teenage boys that never leave their bedrooms), but I do play fairly regularly.

This game however is far from an 'easy platinum'. It's a very long drawn out game and while a lot of the trophies are easy to get if you whack it on 'Easy', it can take *ages* dus to the length of the Test matches etc.

After 3 weeks of intermittent play (what can I say work and a family holiday interfered too much with my finely honed cricket skills) I've got to 66%. I'm thinking of giving up shortly as there is no way I can get 3 wickets in a row bowling or 500 runs with a single player unless I waste another 3 weeks of my life.

I think this one is best left to the cricket fans and people with a lot of patience and time.

PS - Graphics are not too bad and the controls are easy enough to get used to, especially with the tutorials (which you earn medals for doing).
