Poignant and moody with lots of humour and real characters. Sometimes slow, it was still gripping and the cinematography was stunning. You could smell the sweat, feel the fog and taste the dust. Well worth watching and great acting too.
I wasnt expecting this to be any good after reading the few reviwes I did. I must say I was exceptionally suprised. Not only does this movie tell a beautifull love story it also captures the different events and lives of people during the depression. I think it was well acted by Colin and Selma no one else would have managed to to do that . THIS IS DEFINETLY ONE TO WATCH
