I hope that true film fans seek out the great Samurai movies from Japan made in the 1940s and 1950s as these are the true films that are not purely stylistic Kill Bill types.
They show you the true nature and rituals of the Samurai. The way they behave among each other and the way they were treated by society. The violence is great too as you have the same suspense and action style one would expect from a Spaghetti Western.
It will take endurance to get through some of this but at the end you will be amazed at how well made the movies are with relatively small resources.
A great movie - if you know your Samurai films!
