(54)Great realistic war movie. A must watch.
By a customer , 01 Jul 2012Excellent film. Tells a true story in a matter of fact but moving way. The battle scenes were very realistic. One man's efforts to get his fellow soldiers the honour they deserved. lets us know that there were many wars in the world each with it's own heros.- Was this review helpful to you?

This is NOT a war film!
By a customer , 19 Jun 2012I thought this was a war film. It certainly has many combat scenes, but that is not the point. It is mainly about loyalty of one man to his comrades and a quest for the recognition of the honour of those friends who have fallen in battle. This quest is really the main 'battle' in the film.
Anybody who has lost comrades in a war or a political struggle will closely identify with the main character of the film. Those of us who never had the misfortune of loosing comrades or good friends under harrowing conditions will perhaps come closer to an understanding of how one will carry the grief and anger of such a loss and how one may eventually come to terms with it.
As a person who has lost many friends in his youth, I found this film very moving. I felt for the main character with great empathy and warmth. I was frequently moved to tears.
An excellent film with great sensitivity, honesty and humanity.- Was this review helpful to you?

Story of Dedication and blind loyalty to the death !!
By a customer , 06 May 2012Brilliant Film....not up there with Korean film Brotherhood or 71 into the fire but still very well acted and the action scenes make a big impact..
Tells a story of dedication and blind loyalty to the last breath and the effect grief and guilt can have on a survivor.
Worth a watch you might be surprised !!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Bit of a let down
By a customer , 13 Apr 2012I was dissapointed with this one. It got two stars for its war action but the story and acting for me was thin. Doesn't compare with Chinese epic City of War and Death, Korean movies 71 Into the fire and Brotherhood which were much superior.- Was this review helpful to you?
