This is a classic horror film which, if you are a fan of tongue in cheek effects and clipped British accents, will not disappoint. A new doctor arrives at the asylum and is set the task of identifying which of four patients used to be the asylum doctor. He is taken in to visit the patients and, as he meets them, their individual stories are told. These range from the bizarre to the very silly but there is an appeal that keeps you watching. The twist at the end of the film is outrageous but still rather appealing. This is the type of film that may have terrified you when you watched it as a child but will amuse when watched again in a nostalgic and satisfying way.
