What's not to like?

It's funny, the young actors are great, there's plenty of tension and a bit of gore. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not enjoying the reviews of people using the word 'chav' though. I quite hope one of the fluorescent toothed aliens munches them to be honest.
The fact that so many people seem to hate this film (though only those writing reviews, curiously, if you look at the breakdown of the ratings) confirms to me that I'm out of step with the idiot mainstream and I'm quite pleased.- Was this review helpful to you?

A waste of time

Unwatchable - Film keeps juddering

Quitissential, Stereotypical Thuggery
By a customer , 25 Apr 2013Think of every stereotype that you have of thugs that live in the East End of London and I mean 'every one of them'. Think of violence, no morals, feeling 'hard innit' when you mug a lone female, hoodies, thumping music, enjoyment of doing the wrong thing in general and like most decent people you would feel thoroughly upset that a film like this is allowed to exist. I don't know what people from other countries think when they watch this film. I was embarassed. I endured about 15 minutes of it with a grimace on my face and then wanted to emigrate. Needless to say I turned the film off. It was badly written, not funny, badly acted and portrays people from deprived backgrounds in a really bad light, which I think is wrong. There are some good people on council estates, but none of them were evidenced in this film. It wasn't even worth half a star, but I had no option to do that. Just awful, and actually quite sad to watch.- Was this review helpful to you?
