I think its a tragedy that children today all over the world do not know what happened during the second World War and this film proves it. More docu films like this should be made and they should be made compulsory viewing at schools. I was told by my father and grandfather (who is from Krakow) what happened in those camps, including the camp my grandfather was in.
If you watch this then please ask your children to watch it with you then they will understand and realise the horrors of what those poor people went through because if we dont tell our children then this will be forgotten and it should NEVER be forgotten.- Was this review helpful to you?

Badly Subtitled!!

Its mostly interview with teens.
By a customer , 05 Apr 2013This movie is mainly interviews with teens who have a varying degree of knowledge on what happened in WW2 with reference to concentration camps and jews. Some know a lot, some no very little, but that's teenagers for you, or anyone really. I learnt a lot from the long haired kid at the end. I wouldn't recommend watching this if you think it is an indepth look at concentration camps. It is a glance at what the youth of today, in Germany, know about them.- Was this review helpful to you?

The close up dark side you may not get in other films about Auschwitz

With dramatic and historical footage interwoven, along with modern day teenager's reflections on the genocide, this will give an otherwise unseen insight into the suffering of the Jews at Auschwitz.- Was this review helpful to you?
