A change of both scenery and character for Baywatch's David Hasselhoff as he swaps the sea and surf for snow and ice and his nice-guy persona for that of a villain. He plays a jewel smuggler who bales out over Alaska after double-crossing his partners and triggers a massive avalanche. Saved by the holidaying Michael Gross and his two children, he then plots to dump his saviours. Hasselhoff is too much of a square-jawed hero to be bad, but Gross acquits himself well and director Paul Shapiro makes good use of the Canadian settings.

Not a bad storyline. Very poor acting however although the age of the film could be taken into consideration. I would not recommend this film, you can take it or leave it really.
Just a typical disaster movie with a baddie in it which was David Hasselhoff, which didn't suit the role.
