How insulting!

I hardly know where to begin! Anyone who has first hand knowledge of dementia would be shocked at this movie. it is all one enormous lie from start to finish .Where is the horror , the trauma ,the cruel deterioration, the grief? Julie Christie DECIDES it is time to go in to the nursing home. [ In your dreams!].Whoever wrote this screen play should have done honest research before hand. an insight into a terrible disease

I would like to start off by saying i cant begin to imagine what it most be like for someone living with Alzheimer's.
however i felt the film was done with senstivity and was well acted covering a difficult subject, althrough i think that the film was not a true story
