Another unofficial doco of GNR lead singer
By a customer from Reading, England , 02 Sep 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
This doco reviews the life of Axl Rose in terms of a timeline from humble beginnings in Lafayette, Indiana making his way to the big city of LA.
Moving through bands which evolved through the changing of band names, band members and the like, life on the touring road and fame ultimately provided THE jungle of drugs, sex and rocknroll.
The doco itself includes various interviews from media, ex-manager and previous band members who have played with Axl though there are no interviews with him as it is not an official doco.
And this also means that all background music is non-GNR.
A picture of his personality is painted which basically can be described as
'volatile'.
The hype for the upcoming album for Guns N Roses with the new lineup is mentioned and after a decade in the making, some have tired of waiting! Will it ever be released?
On a personal note, I knew the information so it wasn't extremely capturing for me however it did have unseen footage. For someone doesn't have any background and are interested, it is a reasonable account/description though not as professional presented as it could have been.- Was this review helpful to you?

Dont even bother
By a customer from hayes, Middlesex , 06 Jul 2006If you are a Guns N Roses fan, do not even bother renting this. It has no Guns N Roses music, no interviews with Axl or any other member of the band. An hour of my life that i will never get back!!!!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Not the prettiest dvd!
By scorer1 from West Yorkshire , 30 Sep 2005Once again a dvd released about Guns n Roses that isn't endorsed by the band, so you have no interviews with Axl and very little footage.
Only for the real die hard Axl fans.- Was this review helpful to you?
