Where do you start when trying to review a film of this much class. Maybe by saying that if you havent seen this film, then where have you been for the last 2 decades! I defy anyone, of any age, to watch this film and not press the eject button without a smile on there face. (No matter how many times you?ve seen it!!!!) The film is almost twenty years old, but it still looks as fresh as it did back in 1985.

If you havent seen this film, then press the 'ADD' button straight away. If you have seen it still press the 'ADD' button straight away, you cant watch this movie too many times.

The last few movie reviews have been short n sweet and maybe rubbish! So I'm gonna make an effort with this classic film! It seems like films from the 80s are almost too inventive for their own good. I don't actually think I need to review this film, because surely everyone likes, or should I say loves it!! Cheesy number by Huey Lewis and News early on. Being a lot older, more jaded by life and cynical now since I last watched this film, maybe I won't enjoy it. 'Well the history is gonna change.' Its funny I have now have no recollection of the entire starting sequence. Goodness, Ive been watching Fight Club too much to enjoy this properly! :O) When we first see Biff he reminds me of the main character in King Pin!! (The way he's dressed). 'Kids we're gonna have to eat this cake by ourselves, your Uncle Joe didn't make parole again!' I like that quote. That's the thing skateboards aren't mainstream anymore. 'What did I tell you - 88 miles per hour!!' I'm just not getting into it, this time around. There's a lot of themes running through the movie. There's certainly some weird concepts explored in this film! 'Why do you keep calling me Calvin?!' Doc is an absolutely brilliant character!! 'I finally invent something that works!' 'Nice Saturday Night, we're sending you back to the future!' Its a great love story. The film obviously gets better as it goes on. The skateboarding scene is on of the best in the movie. I like the ongoing storyline between Fox and his dad. In some respects its quite a basic plot, but it works. This is a real feel good film, its timeless. The ending sequence is quite long - it goes on for 40 minutes. The Johnny Be good sequence is absolutely amazing too! 'You'll late, do you have no concept of time!!' Its not that long a film, but it somehow feels long. 'Now Biff! - Don't con me!' 'Roads?! - Where we're going we don't need roads!'

  • CLASSIC FILM IN MODERN HD QUALITY !

I recently ordered this movie on blu ray after having seen it listed on a top 50 movies of all time list, I had seen it before but a long time ago and can honestly say that I had forgotten just how good it was.

The first thing i was impressed with was the picture quality on the blu ray, for a movie from the 80s it was very crisp and clear.

The film itself will keep you entertained all the way through to the end, I wouldn't say its an all out comedy like it says on the description but its got a very creative story line with some humor thrown in.

    Definitely worth a rent !
