an outstanding movie.
tracy plays a crippled WWII veteran, who arrives at a small desert town of black rock, looking for a japanese farmer. but tracy, is met with suspicion & hostility from virtually everyone.
tracy soon realises he won't be able to leave the town ... alive!

tracy is superb and there are great performances from robert ryan, ernest borgnine, lee marvin.
