Lost and 300's Rodrido Santoro is the latest star to sign up for Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor's dark comedy I Love You, Phillip Morris, according to Digital Spy. He joins Knocked Up's Leslie Mann - who appeared with Carrey in 1995's The Cable Guy - in the cast for the film, which has been adapted from Steve McVicker's book by the team behind Bad Santa and Cats And Dogs, John Requa and Glenn Ficarra. Carrey signs on for prison film

The Mask funnyman Jim Carrey has signed up to play the part of a prison inmate who falls in love with the man he shares his cell with. Reports have placed Carrey as the lead character in the film I Love You Philip Morris, a movie based on a book based on true events by Houston Chronicle journalist Steve McVicker. Is The Golden Compass a Christmas movie? Novelist Philip Pullman would probably be appalled at the idea. Despite quisling spin from the movie's stars, the book is very clearly an attack on religion, and (to a lesser degree) the film is too.
