Dan's mom sends him on an errand to pick up some delicious loin tips at the local mall and, at the very same time, Runo's mom sends her to the pick up some liver kabobs. Well, Dan runs into Runo, literally, on his way there and accidentally drops his Baku-Pod. Runo picks it up and sees Dan has been challenged to a battle by Masquerade down by the river. Runo decides to go in his place and ends up dueling against a boy named Tatsuya. After losing most of her Bakugans, Runo is tired of always coming up on the short end. So, with Dan looking on, Runo decides to use strategy and patience to outlast Tatsuya's Garganoid. Runo loses the first battle, wins the second and it's down to one more with winner take all! And that is where Runo plays her ace, teaming her Saurus up with her Haos Tigrerra to take game, set and match!
