Julie and her childhood friend Billy go toe-to-toe in a Bakugan Battle. Unfortunately, Billy is a bit of a pain, and so is his Bakugan, Cyclops! They make a great team though, and Julie wishes she could also befriend a talking Bakugan. She loses the battle to Billy, and in her despair, decides to go hunt for a talking Bakugan. No luck though. It's only when she really admits to herself how lonely she is that Gorem appears to her. The two are destined to be together, as is evident by the big rematch with Billy and Cyclops. They Battle hard, but Julie and Gorem are victorious! Strangely, Billy and Cyclops are anything but sore losers, and everyone parts as friends.
