From Nepal to Kenya, from Australia to Brazil, people try to cope with the changes that have altered their landscape, crowding them together and speeding up daily life. The film shows us these alienated people, but also images of traditions -- whirling dervishes and Tibetan monks -- that offer different, peaceful ways of existence. Shot in 70mm in 24 countries, this awesome musical and visual montage in the tradition of 'Koyaanisqatsi' expresses the global existence of nature and man in the broadest sensory terms.

Stunning. Humbling. Spectacular. Moving. Wonderous. Mesmerising. Breathtaking. Magnificent. Words which cannot begin to describe this epic piece of cinematography. Watch it and allow yourself to be immersed in the incedible imagery, on this astounding journey.
I would highly recommend this film. It gets me to the core like no other film. Its beautifully shot and the images fill you with awe. It shows what an amazing planet this is. Colourful lives and vistas. It also shows the carelessness that some humans have adopted up until now.
Its captivating, mesmerising and gives you a deep sense of love for this beautiful planet we call home. Everyone should watch it. Fricke is a genius! The soundtrack is perfect in its ability to highten the experience of the images on screen. It makes me desperate to go travelling again!
