I am still trying to understand how this film did not receive more Oscars than it did. I believe that it was nominated in 9 categories including 'Hairiest Bush', 'Largest Moustache' and 'Most Convincing Prison Cook'. The way the Director portrays the sheer brutality and pointlessness of prison is exceptional. A true classic up there with Casablanca, On the waterfront, Apocalypse Now and Weekend at Bernies 2.- Was this review helpful to you?

One of the worst films ever.

A superb lesson for any would be fim makers in how not to make a movie. Even the 'porn' is laughingly bad. One to watch though... A genre film of good taste
